This is the new space where we can keep everyone updated about happenings in relation to skateparks and Nottingham. Everyone who lives here realises the need for a citywide facility to cater for the needs of young (and older) people in the city and surrounding districts.
We want to use this space as somewhere for you to put across your views, keep up to date with what's going on and for you to give us your thoughts on the future of skateparks in Nottingham.

- Our aim is to help provide a decent sized, innovative and creative space for all young people of Nottingham to use in a constructive and thought provoking manner. Nottingham is one of the seven largest cities in the UK and for some reason does not have a citywide skatepark. There are many smaller ones around the city and county but these are limited in their nature and size. For years we have been waiting and been promised a decent sized skatepark. Now is the time to act, especially as the city council has banned skating/riding from the town centre and not provided anywhere as an alternative. Stand up for what you believe in.

Great to see a Blog dedicated to a proposed Forest skate park, I think that this is something that could have, and probably would have, been so easily swept under the carpet and dismissed, and that would have been a travesty.
Brilliant that local people and skaters near and far are showing backbone and standing up to be counted - all the more power to you, lets ALL keep on keepin' on!
